The cult TV Tokyo series about a salesperson sampling all that culinary Japan has to offer gets its first musical overview, courtesy of the cult curators at HMV Record Shop!

The drama “Kodoku no Gourmet”, which started in 2012, will reach season 9 in 2021 this year. In this drama, Masayuki Kusumi himself, who is the original author, leads Screen Tones and produces all the drama accompanying music. Each season’s title sequence has become a hot topic as a new song with a different musical genre each time. This analog record is a compilation of all the seasons 1-8 and the masterpieces of each season. It is a condensed album that looks back on the 9-year history of “Kodoku no Gourmet”.
