Welcome to Hawkins

In 2016, the first season of Stranger Things was released, introducing us to a cast of young characters whose actors would become stars: Finn Wolfhard (as Mike Wheeler), Millie Bobbie Brown (as Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (as Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (as Lucas Sinclair), and Noah Schnapp (as Will Byers). These kids are joined by several adults, such as Joyce Byers (played by Winona Ryder) and Jim Hopper (played by David Harbour), but the fate of Hawkins, the town in which the show is based, often lies on the shoulders of its youngest inhabitants.

The premise of the original season centres on the disappearance of Will, who finds himself transported to the Upside Down, a parallel dimension that is home to monsters, the most terrifying of which is the Demogorgon. While searching for their friend, the Party (a name associated with the kids) encounter an unusual girl by the name of Eleven, and they discover that she has escaped from an experimental facility that houses individuals with psychokinetic abilities. With her help, they are able to combat the supernatural forces that threaten to destroy Hawkins.
